Meet the Founder
Anthony Cortany founded Lugals Integrated Services after more than 17 years of direct operational experience supporting U.S. government and military missions across Iraq and the Middle East. As a native Arabic speaker (Iraqi dialect and Modern Standard Arabic) with proficiency in Turkish and English, Anthony brings a rare combination of linguistic, cultural, and operational expertise that few firms can match.
His career included direct support to U.S. Special Forces on 33+ counterterrorism missions, as well as extensive work in intelligence analysis, security operations, and cultural advisory roles. This field experience — not just academic knowledge — is the foundation of every service Lugals provides.
Anthony holds a Master of Arts in International Studies from the University of North Texas, with a focus on Middle East politics and security. He holds an active Secret clearance and is a service-disabled veteran.
